We Need Your Support to Keep Fighting for Gaza

As Gazan Canadians, our movement has carried the weight of keeping Gaza’s voice alive in Canada. We are on the frontlines of advocacy—meeting with politicians, organizing sit-ins and demonstrations, producing media, and mobilizing our community. But none of this comes without costs, and we cannot carry this burden alone.

When you donate to our movement, you are directly fueling advocacy. Your support covers the real, day-to-day expenses that make our work possible:

• Travel and logistics for advocacy: We often bring people from different cities across Canada to Ottawa for meetings with Members of Parliament and government officials. Many of our community members are financially stretched, sending money back home to support families in Gaza. We step in to cover their transportation, accommodation, and basic needs so they can represent all of us in front of decision-makers.

• Media and communications: We work with a dedicated media team who produce videos, graphics, and content to spread awareness, mobilize Canadians, and expose government inaction. This team is essential, because we cannot do it all ourselves while also carrying our families’ suffering. Subscriptions for emails, communications platforms, and other technical tools also fall under this category—without them, our voice would go silent.

• Demonstrations, vigils, and sit-ins: These public actions are powerful, but they require resources. We provide water and food for participants, rent equipment and materials, and ensure the logistics are handled so that people can show up and focus on raising their voices.

• Advocacy days and weeks: These are especially costly. Bringing people together from across Canada, organizing their schedules, preparing materials, and coordinating meetings with MPs takes an enormous effort and financial investment. Yet these are the moments that shift narratives and force Canada’s leaders to face us.
